Question
The onboard SAS controller fails to detect the Seagate SAS HDDs intermittently. It sometimes detects and sometimes does not detect the HDDs. What can I do?

Answer
This is a firmware compatibility issue. Please update the SAS controller firmware to latest version. Please also make sure that your Seagate HDD firmware has rev 0007 or above.
