Question
I have a 7042M-6 server, and I'm trying to install NT4.0. Everything is fine except that I cannot install onboard gigabit LAN. Is my Gb port broken?

Answer
The provided floppy disk is only for 10/100 LAN. To install driver for onboard Gigabit LAN, you have to create a driver floppy disk from the CD. In Supermicro CDROM, there's a folder labeled "makedisk", use the executable file "makedisk.exe" to create a floppy to add the Gb driver.
