Question
I have installed Windows 7 on X8ST3-F board and want to add more SATA drives
to the SAS ports for data backup in IT mode but device manager can not recognize
these drives. I am not using RAID mode. What should I do?

Answer
Make sure to enable SAS by setting jumper JPS1 to pins 1-2 and remove jumper from JPS2 to use IT mode instead of Software RAID.
