Question
RHEL5 cannot be installed into an X6DLP-EG2 system.

1. Boot system from RHEL5 DVD.
2. After system displays "boot:", hit Enter key.
3. After text messages displays, the system freeze.
4. The last displayed message is as follows:
"pci_hotplug: PCI Hot Plug PCI Core version: 0.5"

This phenomenon does not occur during the RHEL4 installation.

This is a really old RAID card. It does not support RHEL5.

We suggest using RHEL4 instead of RHEL5.
