Question
I've got NVRAM problem recently with the superserver. The machine hangs at checking nvram. I tried to clear the CMOS, remove the battery and put it back on, remove any GPU cards on board, but none of these works. The battery is also checked to be 3.126V Voltages. set BIOS to clear NVRAM on boot, and the next restart shows: clear NVRAM…failed.

Answer
When clear NVRAM failed after you already tried to clear CMOS with onboard jumber JBT1, it means your BIOS chip is having a problem. You need to contact RMA department and order a new BIOS chip and that will take care the issue.
