Question
We are currently testing a Supermicro Machine in a 813MTQ-350CB Chassis with a X9SCL-F mainboard. And we use a Adaptec 5405Z as storage controller.
Every time when I insert the storage controller, the system does not post. If I login into IPMI and do a post snoop, he hangs at code “96”.
We use a beta bios (x9scm.1.517) we got from your support.
When I remove the storage controller, the system just works fine.

Please reset the bios to defaults and it works, or check if the active state power management is disabled. Enabling it may cause this problem.
