I bought a super server 1012C-MRF. The motherboard is H8SCM-F with 4200 series CPU. However, the system does not post. It does not beep without memory. What could be the root cause?

The BIOS needs to be rev 2.0 or newer to support 4200series CPU. Otherwise, you need to use 4100 series CPU to update the BIOS or RMA the motherboard for BIOS upgrade.
