After upgrading the IPMI firmware on this mother board, I am now unable to open the IPMI ipkvm. I have the latest java 6 updates installed on windows 7 enterprise 64 bit.

Please try to clear the internet browser cache, as well as the Java cache. You can clear the cached file inside the Java control panel.
