We ran into a few issue when trying to measure the throughput of the FDR infiniband network between servers with X9DRT-HIBFF motherboard inside. At this point or old QDR infiniband configuration out performs this test environment. Inconsistent speed when using iperf speed drops off with repeated runs both in datagram and connected modes. I also want to know if there’s any way we can verify that these cards are FDR and not QDR because I’m seeing then connect at 40 gigs. FYI, the firmware is rev 2.10.630. I have tried various Linux distro’s just to rule out and make sure that it’s not a kernel driver issue.
