I have a X9DAI motherboard. It has BIOS 1.00 on it. It has 160G of memory and is running Windows 7 with all drivers (including Intel chipset) and updates applied.
When using a Nvidia Quadro 600 in the system, in any of the 3 x16 slots, we get this error "A corrected hardware error has occurred". The video also behaves very strangely. One noticeable thing was flickering happening sometimes. Another was strange behavior in IE - the opening page (MSN) might not load properly.
Do you have any suggestions for this?
The WHEA errors can be fixed by downloading and updating to the latest BIOS for this board. For the video issue, NVIDIA has notified us that there are limitations to the amount of memory that can be populated on a system when using Quadro graphics cards in Windows. Limitations are much higher in Linux.
If the system has more memory than the limit below, there will be unpredictable performance and behavior. Most configurations will be fine, but pay special note to the lower threshold on the Quadro 600.
