We are trying to boot a X7DAL-E+ with a X5472 but the system does not boot. Does the board not support the X5400 series?

Answer
Yes it does, however, the X54x2 series run on a bus speed of 1600MHz. The X7DAL-E+ can only support up to 1333MHz.
