I have a Super Micro H8DA8-2 Motherboard and AOC-USAS-H8iR. If I add the part number “BTR-0012L-0000-LSI” battery back up on AOC-USAS-H8iR, will I encounter any problem that card with BBU physically cannot fit into slot?

No. Currently battery back up unit only has issue with MB+ and AOC-USASLP-H8iR which is currently being gerbered out to be fixed.
