Question
I have 5036T-T workstation without serial port cable so I bought third party "Serial Port DB9 cable” connected it to a COM1 header on motherboard and I just can't make work with SecureCRT 3.4 serial connection to a PIX firewall console port. Any idea, please help?

Use third party comport cable will not work due to comports header is proprietary. You need to use Super Micro comport cable, the part number is CBL-0010L. Contact super micro RMA department to order. Email to: rma@supermicr.com or call 1408-503-8000 press 3.
