I recently purchased a X8STI motherboard, and I have a heat sink with screws. How can I attach this type of heat sink since there is no places for screws?

The motherboard was designed for the push-pin heat sink by default; therefore, you'll need the retention bracket part # BKT-0023L. Since that's an optional part for X8STI, please order it by email at rma@supermicro.com or by calling 1-408-503-8000 (option 4).
