Question
I’m using add-on card AOC-USAS2LP-H8iR in the 847E1 chassis with 36 hard drives. I was able to configure 2 drives as a simple RAID-1 array for the OS and wanted to create another RAID array with the remaining 34 drives. However, when I attempted to connect the drives, the controller would not recognize the last 4 drives after I chose them; why is that?

This is a limitation of the RAID controller as there's a maximum of 32 drives for each RAID array.
