How can I tell if my X8SAX / C7X58 motherboard has a Realtek ALC883 or ALC888 audio controller?

Answer
For PCB rev of 1.1 or earlier, the boards are using ALC883. For PCB rev of 2.0 or later, the boards are using ALC888.
