Does backplane 836E26-R1200B can perform at twice the level of the backplane 836E16-R1200B since it has two cables instead of 1 cable?

Nope! The 836E26-R1200B and 836E16-R1200B have the same performance but E26 has dual-port expanders on the daughter cards. These dual-port expanders support cascading, failover, and recovery.
