I have SC733T chassis and X8DTL MB with STS100A CPU fan, the noise is too high if set to balanced. If set to egergy saving, it will become noisy again when the CPU temp increases. Do you have any recommendation?

STS100A is for 2U chassis, the fan is smaller, so it spins faster and makes more noise. You can use SNK-P0035AP4 CPU fan, the noise level is 25dB only, which should be quieter than STS100A. SNK-P0040AP4 might have mechanical interference with chassis rear exhaust fan FAN-0077L4, so it is not recommended.
