I've just received our SuperServer 6026T-6RF+ and am now in the process of trying to pick a processor. Can you tell me if the Intel Xeon Processor W5580 is compatible with this particular system? I have a spare but am reluctant to install it until I've verified that it is compatible. Please advise.

No, it can’t use W5580 since it is 130W CPU:
