I just bought X8DT6-F and RAID 5 key. I am going to install vmware on RAID 5. Will that work?

The SAS controller on X8DT6-F is LSI 2008. RAID 5 is iMR mode. Vmware doesn’t have iMR driver. Only IT and IR mode can work with vmware.
