Do you have a flash tool which would allow me DMI information to be flashed to the FRU of the BMC? I would like to also set an individual serial number of the product. I see that I could read the values from the DMI Table, but is there a way to put a serial number into the FRU with a command?
Yes, you may use IPMICFG tool. ftp://ftp.supermicro.nl/utility/IPMICFG/
This is for setting FRU command. You need give exact 14 parameters at a time for FRU data writing
