We have AS-2022TG-HiBQRF Barebone with AMD Opteron 6238 CPU’s and 128GB of approved DDR3 Samsung RAM. This barebone has the new 1620Watt Redundant Power Supplies.The IPMI Firmware revision is 2.36 version. What we are seeing on the systems is the IPMI reporting Critical and Non-Critical Power Supply Failures from Node 1 even with AC Power connected to both PSU’s and the LED’s showing Green, and not showing a problem. Any idea?

Please upgrade IPMI firmware to the latest 2.47 to fix the problem. Once firmware update successful please remove and leave AC Power out for about 30sec so that BMC can be fully reset and initialized with the new firmware.
