I wish to know if X9SCA supports as well XEON E3-1220 (sandy bridge) and E3-1220V2 (Ivy-Bridge) or need to go on X9SAE to manage both.

X9SCA motherboard will support both Xeon E3-1220 and E3-1220 V2 CPUs, but you need BIOS revision 2.0 or above in order for the motherboard to support E3-1220 V2 CPU.
