Need support for MoBo X9SCL. When I set sata mode as RAID, the optical drive does not work, the BIOS does not recognize.

Please go to the BIOS and change the Launch Storage OpRom Policy to Legacy Only. That option should be under Advanced->PCIe/PCI/Pnp Configuration->Launch OpROM Policy. Then select boot from CD/DVD device. Will the system be able to boot from DVD device
