We would like to use the memory mirroring option on X9SRI-F board in memory configuration, it said "memory mirroring not possible"? But I read that it should be supported.

Answer
It will depend on CPU type/model. For the E5-16xx, there is no memory mirroring support. The E5-26xx does support memory mirroring.
