We have a RAID on the X7DCU setup and running fine. But the backplane shows red lights on the drive bays. Do you know why?

Answer
Most likely the SGPIO cable is connected to the backplane sideband header. Please remove the SGPIO cable, the functions are not available with Intel Host RAID ICH9R.
