BIOS of X9DRW-7F, with onboard LSI 2208, supports "storage monitoring" feature for easy configuration inside BIOS. Can I use the internal RAID HBA or RAID card for the same configuration and get this storage monitoring support?

No. BIOS of X9DRW-7F with storage monitoring feature is only able to work with onboard LSI 2208 chip. It's not able to leverage the same feature with LSI internal or external RAID/HBA cards.
