I have a Supermicro X7DCA-L server motherboard and I was wondering that can i install 4TB on this motherboard? If not, what is the highest supported hard drive size for it?

No, 4TB hard drive is not supported, the Intel ICH9R controller on X7DCA-L only supports up to 2TB hard disk drive.
