I am using one CPU with 6 sticks of 4GB memory on the X8DTL-I board. Instead of seeing all 24GB in BIOS, it only detects 12GB. What is wrong?

You need to use 2 CPUs in order to use all 6 memory DIMMs on the motherboard.
