Question
We assembled this configuration:
CSE743TQ-865BSQ
X8DTL-3F
2 x X5660
2 x SNK P0038P
Air Shroud
5 x X25M SSD Drive.
In this configuration processor temperature is getting very high. So, we added one more fan inside the chassis (FAN0074L4) to control the temperature. Now the CPU is not overheating, but the system temperature is 59-60C.
Is it OK to add one more FAN to decrease the temp? But, we afraid the noise level may also increase. Please advice.

Answer
Yes you can add more fans. For this chassis:

By design, there are options to put in more fans for better cooling. Instead of FAN-0074L4, you may try FAN-0091l4 which has much more air flow with lesser speed

Alternatively, you may also try to use SNK-P0040AP4 which is used in Super servers with this chassis and X8 DP boards.
