The M.2-SSD operates at an efficient and very low power range, typically <7watts in Read mode and <10watts in Write mode, at ambient 25-deg-C.  Some M.2-SSD devices support the L1.2-Power modes, such as Lite-Sleep, Sleep and Deep Sleep modes.
