I have your X7DAL-E+ motherboard and in the BIOS only see four SATA devices, but there are six connected to the motherboard. Is it possible to use all six SATA drive connections in a non RAID configuration?

Answer
Yes, go into the BIOS setup under Main -> SATA Controller Mode Option select “Enhance” then SATA AHCI Enable Option select “Enable”.
