Why do I need compatibility list?

Answer
Three components need to work together in perfect harmony and be compliant to SAS specification. If not fully compliant then the vendors need to work together to accomplish component compatibility. These components are:

1. HBA Firmware
2. Backplane Firmware
3. Hard drive Firmware
