Question
What does function "Continue CR after POST" do in Phoenix BIOS?
Print
Answer
This function if enabled (default is OFF or DISABLE) will allow data to be sent through serial cable after POST. For example, you are using FreeBSD in a server, through console redirection you will not be able to see anything after server is starting to boot into FreeBSD when this function is disabled. If you enabled "Continue CR after POST", you'll be able to see the sequence the server is booting into OS and to use command line as well.
