Why is it difficult to install driver (in Windows OS) for QLogic GEM 318 on SCSI backplanes with this embedded Super GEM chip?

Please see the instructions for installing the GEM driver located on our ftp site: https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/SCSI_Backplanes/Qlogic/

If you are still having trouble, please keep in mind to wait 5-10 seconds between power off and power on to allow the system to properly discharge itself.
