For the SC823TQ-R500LPB chassis, what is the depth of the 5.25” peripheral bay? We want to install a DAT tape drive with the dimensions of 1.6”x5.7”x6.1”(height x width x depth).

A standard 5.25” tape drive with a depth of 6.1" should fit for the SC823 chassis because the distance between outer edge of 5.25” bay and the internal fan in SC823 is around 235 mm (around 9.25”), which leaves around 3.15” of space for power cable. The data connector for the drive is 6.1” long, so it should be fine.
