Lastly we bought riser card RSC-R2U-A3E8+ and we are planning to mount it to PCI Express x16 slot.
Unfortunately some part not allows placing it in x16 slot. My question is, if this riser can work on x16 slot?
If this part can be removed (I not see any electronic connection on it)?

This card is made for a PCIe x8 slot with SEPC. This is a special slot that is placed on some mainboards. This slot provide power to the card because this is a active riser card with a chip that needs power. So, you cannot use this card in a normal X16 slot.
