Can you give me some idea what this power connector in CSE-748TQ-R1400B chassis is used for? It has 6 pins with purple, green, grey, orange, red and black color.

The PDB is designed originally for an EOL system with two motherboards inside. The 6-pin power connector is used to provide the signal of different voltage for the motherboard’s booting sequence. None of the current servers supports this connector. Please just ignore it.
