added an AOC-USASLP-H8iR to my server running RedHat 4.6. Could I use megaraid_sas-v00.00.04.26-1-rhel40-u5-u6-all.img from your FTP site? How can I load the driver into the OS?

The easiest way is to use the RPM package. Please contact Tech Support for the RPM packages. Install dkms-2.0.22.0-1.noarch.rpm first, then megaraid_sas-v00.00.04.31_ieee-1.noarch.rpm.
