When I update BIOS to R2.0a on X8DTL-3F platform, I get error message “No smbios structure are found, nothing will be preserved in NVRAM.”
But if I open the file AMI.BAT and change the parameter “afudos.exe /P /B /N /R /C” to “afudos.exe /P /B /N /C”, the error message is disappeared.
Is it necessary to add parameter “/R”?
It is necessary to reserve pre-programmed SMBIOS data. AFUDOS does not report an error but a warning. So customer can ignore it.
