Question
My motherboard is X7DBE which has IPMI card SIMLP-B+ inside. The chassis has a dual redundant power supplies. The IPMI system heath shows power supply status OK. If I unplug one power module, the log should show power supply failure and an email alert shall be sent out right away. The problem is I do not see the log and do not get email alert under this kind power failure condition. Do you know what I should check to solve the issue?

If you do not get the log, then there will be no email alert. Please double check if you connect the power supply i2c.
