I have a question regarding the battery backup unit on 8026B-6RF. If I purchase the battery backup unit BTR-0018L-0000-LSI and the kit BTR-0018L-kit, do I still need the cable CBL-0420L?

Yes, you still need CBL-0420L. The kit comes with a cable CBL-0391L which is not for X8QB6-F.
