I cannot detect Intel PRO/1000PT (Quad) card on my X8OBN-F, is there something wrong?

Please go to BIOS settings, under Chipset -> Boxboro IOH configuration, set "PCIe Gen1 Device Supp" to . For other Gen1 cards that exhibits the similar issue, this may be the solution as well.
