Can you advise on what sort of solution would be possible to allow a full length PCI-e card to use that 7th slot - or is that not possible in this chassis? I see no indication that would indicate otherwise (user manual states "The 7046A-HR+/7046A-HR+F can accommodate standard size add-on cards installed into all of the slots on the X8DAH+/X8DAH+F server board.") but it appears that this system has some severe restrictions on what type of card will work in slot 7?
Due to form factor design on X8DAH+-F motherboard support 18 DIMMS slots. The memory slot is interference with PCI-E slot 7 with full length card. The slot 7 accommodate with short length PCI-E card and it must be 6.3” or below.
