I have one 5U server in that I am facing some OS problem which is as followed:
Please find below the details of Supermicro server and error message we are getting while installing OS.
SuperMicro Server: SYS-5086B-TRF model,
Intel Westmere-EX 10c E7-8870 2.40Ghz 30MB 6.4GT/s QPI processors x 8,
4GB DDR3 Reg ECC 1333Mhz x 64 ( 256GB ),
1 TB SATA HDD Capacity with 7200 RPM disk drive

We tried with Ubuntu 9.04, Centos 5.4, 6 , Fedora 11.

[0.208001] kernel panic-not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with the 'noapic' option.

The error which we are getting while booting with CentOs 5.4 with noapic option is:

APIC never delivered???
APIC delivery error (ef).
