For Romley based mainboard (X9SR/X9DR) series what is the minimum number of memory modules recommended with highest memory frequency?

For Romley platform the Intel E5-26xx / E5 16xx CPU series use quad channel memory controller.
So it is recommended to use at least 4pcs memory modules for best performance.
