We have the H8SGL motherboard and loaded Windows 7 on it. The graphics matrox G200 is really slow even with the driver from the Super Micro web site. Is there anything we can do?
Please go to your Control panel on Windows 7 and choose Performance and Tools. Then you can click on Adjust Visual effects on the left panel. This will help smooth out the graphics control.
Uncheck the following:
Fade or slide menus view,
Fade or slide ToolTips into view,
Fade out menu items after clicking,
Show shadows under mouse pointer,
Show shadows under windows,
Show window contents while dragging
