We have an old server from ABMX using Supermicro X7DVL-L motherboard. The problem we have is that we can only use 4 SATA ports. The other 2 ports are connected to the board, and the SATA cables were good. But no matter what HDD we plug to it, our Windows Server can’t see the HDD.
When you are using more than 4 SATA devices on the ESB2 SATA ports, please select AHCI mode “enabled” in the BIOS main page to see all 6 SATA devices.
