We have your X9SCL+-F server with latest Ubuntu version loaded, onboard LAN drops connection from time to time, by doing some research we found LAN driver version needs to be 2.1.4 or later, the current version on the system is only 1.5.1. Please advise.

The latest LAN driver on Supermicro FTP is version 17.4:
https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/LAN/Intel/

You can extract it to a folder, under “PRO1000/linux”, driver version is 2.1.4, named:
e1000e-2.1.4.tar.gz

that's 2.1.4 version
