There is a note on the X9DRE-LN4F web page that says, “Please use optional I/O shield MCP-260-00041-0N in Supermicro 1U chassis” which makes me think that you could use it with a 1U. Can you please verify?

You should be able to use X9DRE-LN4F with an 815TQ chassis with the requirements that the chassis is Revision M; please uses optional I/O shield MCP-260-00041-0N, the heatsink is SNK-P0047PS, and the CPU TDP is less than 115W.
